The Big 3 fails to save the Philadelphia 76ers’ losing streak. Despite the presence of Tyrese Maxey, Joel Embiid and George Paul, the team is trying hard to keep themselves intact within the top 6 of the Eastern Conference. After racking up two back-to-back wins against the New York Knicks and the Dallas Mavericks, fans were relieved that the team might get back on track once again. Especially with these players appearing together.

However, the celebration did not last long, as the team suffered two consecutive losses against the Brooklyn Nets and the Chicago Bulls. The Big 3 have played in 4 games together this season and failed to manage a win in any of them. Even though they have racked up higher individual scores, the combined total remains less than the opposition.

The Philadelphia 76ers, after their recent defeat against the Chicago Bulls, are on a win-loss streak of 16-13. Tyrese Maxey is currently leading the team with an average of 31.0 points. Joel Embiid and Paul George are averaging 21.0 and 16.4 points, respectively. The trio have played very few games together. However, they could not rack up a single win in any of the games. The lost games were against the Atlanta Hawks, the Los Angeles Lakers, the Brooklyn Nets and the Chicago Bulls.


In each one of the games, the team lost by just a small margin. Both Tyrese and Joel were going through injury recovery. This is the reason why the athletes missed several games of the season. The 76ers have played 29 games so far. VJ Edgecombe was also away from the game against the Brooklyn Nets. The 76ers will be appearing next against the Oklahoma City Thunder, the team dominating the Western Conference. While the player stats are yet to be revealed, only time will tell if the Big 3 will be appearing in the game and if their gameplay leads the team to its victory.

The Chicago Bulls edged the Philadelphia 76ers by 7 points. Even though Joel Embiid scored the highest, racking up 31 points, it was the joint effort of the Bulls that secured their win. Following up was Tyrese Maxey, who added 27 points. On the part of the Bulls, Tre Jones and Jack Collins added 15 points each. Other players who scored double-digit points included Cobey White, Josh Giddey, Jalen Smith and Matas Buzelis. The final score of the game stood at 109-102, favoring the Bulls.
