James Harden is finally moving on with the Cleveland Cavaliers. The athlete spent two years of his career with the Los Angeles Clippers. After the stunning trade this week, Harden got emotional towards the end of his time with the Clippers. He had some of his best games with the team. Following the trade, Harden penned down his feelings in the latest Instagram post. As per the post, the athlete will always consider himself a Clipper.Harden got traded to the Cavaliers in exchange for Darius Garland and a second-round pick. Garland is 26 years old and has been sidelined from the games since January 16, 2026, due to an injury. On the contrary, Harden will be joining Donovan Mitchell in leading the Cavaliers in their championship run.James Harden will now continue the season with the Cleveland Cavaliers. As the athlete gears up for the new chapter of his career, he doesn’t undermine the importance of the teams that he has previously been a part of. Harden acknowledges his time with the Los Angeles Clippers in the latest Instagram post. The athlete got emotional drafting the farewell post dedicated towards the Clippers. Harden wrote, “Thank you, Steve Ballmer, L Frank and the entire Clipper organization.”He further added, “Two and a half years ago, you welcomed me with open arms and allowed me to be the best version of myself.” The athlete literally brewed magic while teaming up with Kawhi Leonard. Ever since 2023, when Harden joined the franchise, he has created and set commendable records. Towards the end of his gratitude post, he wrote, “I’m grateful is an understatement. I will forever consider myself a Clipper.” Harden played 195 games with this team in a span of two years. He had led the team to multiple victories during this tenure.The Los Angeles Clippers traded James Harden for the 26-year-old athlete, Darius Garland and a second-round pick. It is to be noted that Darius has been sidelined due to an injury since January 16. He even missed the first few games of the Cleveland Cavaliers due to an offseason toe injury. However, all of these do not seem to be worrying the Clippers. It feels like the team is banking on the young athlete for the long run. The Clippers will be focusing more on building the brand name around their star performer, Kawhi Leonard.
