Christian hip hop artist Dontae Ralston said the decision came less than a year after Odom and his partners acquired multiple treatment facilities. According to Ralston, the issue centered on Odom’s continued public promotion of marijuana while being tied to centers that often treat marijuana addiction.Ralston explained that the conflict became impossible to reconcile with the mission of the facilities. He said the work was deeply personal for those involved and that the choice was made with heavy hearts. Despite the split, Ralston emphasized there was no bitterness. “We still try to communicate,” he said, adding, “Lamar is Lamar.” He also shared that they continue to pray for Odom and hope he succeeds.When the partnership launched in April 2023, the facilities were set to operate as Odom Wellness Treatment Centers. He was booked on suspicion of DUI and cited for driving more than 41 miles per hour over the limit, along with improper lane change. Court records show he is scheduled to appear in the Nevada court on March 17.
