LeBron James has a car collection that truly does justice to his name and image. His garage houses more than a dozen supercars, some even from the same brand, just one more expensive than the other. There are also some that can make jaws drop with their custom designs, and some even come with interesting number plates. Get to know more about his 15-car collection, some of which even have number plates as eye-catching as the vehicles themselves.
LeBron James’s jaw-dropping car collection
With a net worth of around $1.2 billion, according to Forbes, LeBron doesn’t just splurge on real estate properties in every city he’s lived in. He also treats himself to mean machines that match his style, and even his mood.
One of the most magnificent vehicles in LeBron’s garage is a custom-made Lamborghini Aventador Roadster. The design of this car was specially crafted to match the Nike LeBron XI "King’s Pride" sneaker launched by the Los Angeles Lakers star. With a top speed of 217 km/h, its $700,000 price tag is no surprise.
For NBA players, car size can sometimes be an issue due to their towering height. So why not get a ride that fits just right? LeBron’s Ferrari 430 Spider was customized to suit the 6-foot-9 champion.
He owns two more Ferraris: a Ferrari 599 and a Ferrari 458 Spider. He was once spotted cruising the streets of Miami in the 458 Spider during his time with the Miami Heat.
LeBron’s garage also includes some jaw-dropping Porsches. His black convertible Porsche 918 Spyder features a number plate that reads ‘King 918’ — a fitting tag for a car worth around $1 million, making it the most expensive vehicle in his multi-million dollar collection. He also owns a Porsche 911 Turbo S, among three Porsches in total.
The 40-year-old also owns the ultra-luxurious Maybach 57S, which sports a personalized number plate reading ‘KNG OF OH’—a nod to his time with the Ohio-based Cleveland Cavaliers.
King James certainly has the means to buy anything he desires, but he’s also been lucky enough to receive some lavish gifts. In 2009, while playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers, he was gifted a limited-edition white Rolls-Royce Phantom by teammate Shaquille O’Neal. Who wouldn’t love a $400,000 birthday present?
