Recently, Gabrielle got emotional during her appearance on one of the episodes of Today with Jenna and Sheinelle. The host of the show, Jenna Bush Hager, was complimenting Dwyane’s gestures, which left the American actress almost speechless. Gabrielle was visibly proud of Dwayne’s growth, as she stated that the NBA veteran wasn’t always like this.Recently, the couple was seen enjoying their annual Wade World Trip. This time it was Japan, Tokyo and Osaka. While fans have already been treated to some of the adorable moments from the trip, the recent viral clip adds to the wholesomeness. The love between Dwyane and Gabrielle feels never-ending, with such instances popping up every now and then.The episode of Today with Jenna and Sheinelle featuring Gabrielle Union went live on January 14, 2026. Jenna Bush Hager, one of the hosts of the show, started the episode by recollecting a memory of Dwyane Wade’s gesture. Jenna addressed the NBA athlete as her “bestie” and went on to narrate a heartfelt experience involving the veteran athlete. “I don’t know if you know this, but he did the most thoughtful thing ever,” she started narrating, holding up a card. “I actually brought it. This is usually in my bar. It has a little wine on it from the usage.” It was a handwritten note from the athlete for Jenna. The note had the most important dates of the host’s life, including each of her children’s birthdays and her own birthday, as well as the anniversary date. Dwyane sent a bottle of wine for each of these dates.Gabrielle looked visibly proud and got emotional listening to her husband’s thoughtful gesture. She stated, “He is so freakishly thoughtful. And he is such a planner and he likes to really make sure that the thought goes into it.” The American actress admitted that he has not always been the same. “You know this has been an evolution. It wasn’t always like this. But he has always been the one to like to write poetry or to just come up with really thoughtful gifts,” Gabrielle concluded her statement while being emotional.In the same interview, Gabrielle Union pointed out one of the most irritating habits of Dwyane Wade that irks the American actress. “There have been times, D will wait until they’re about to call boarding, ‘I’ve got to go to the bathroom,’” Gabrielle recalled. “Right now? Or, ‘I want to go grab a burger.’ We’ve been here for three hours! Why right now?
