The Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 129-99 in a terrible game in Ohio. Cleveland supporters yelled that they wanted Bronny when the Lakers' loss was confirmed in the last seconds of the fourth quarter. As Bronny, LeBron's son, took the court, a heartwarming moment actually took place. Bronny made a memorable moment for his father and the supporters by scoring eight points in eight minutes. LeBron James, meanwhile, sent his mother Gloria a touching note on his jersey following what would have been his final game in Cleveland.

It was an emotional comeback, with persistent clues that this might be James' final season. Before the game, the Cavaliers honored James, expressing their gratitude for the player they selected in the 2003 draft. For the NBA's all-time top scorer, it was a huge video. James thought back on his career and all of his achievements. There was no assurance, though, that this would be his final Cleveland game. James talked about possibly retiring, but he wasn't sure if this would be his final game in Cleveland.In the meantime, he discussed how it was a full circle moment for him and his mother Gloria during a post-game press conference.
He said: “I mean like my mom is here watching her son and her grandson like I don't even know how to even like wrap that all I want in my brain, you know, and just so weird and so cool and so surreal, you know, my mom will get to watch her son and her grandson play in the NBA at the same time…”James felt more than a straightforward loss. James started crying as he watched the tribute video that the Cavaliers had made prior to the game. In the video, 22-year-old James scored 48 points against Detroit in Game 5 of the 2007 Eastern Conference Finals, a historic moment. James stated in a post-game interview while crying: “I tried to enjoy the moment without missing it today. Because this season could be my last,” acknowledging that he is considering retirement.

Before moving back to Cleveland for four more seasons, James played four seasons in Miami. He guided the Cavaliers to their lone championship in 2016. James's career has been historic. The Cleveland supporters will never forget that championship and what James accomplished to help them win it, even if it is coming to an end.James is in his 23rd NBA season at the age of 42. James has no more goals to pursue after winning titles with three separate teams. His wish to play with his son has also come true. James is already starting to look forward to retirement.
