CHANDIGARH: Patiala's Kunwar Raina slamed a match-winning ton on the second day of the under-22 Inter-district Cricket Tournament against Mohali at Dhruv Pandove Stadium, Patiala on Wednesday. Patiala got two points for first inning lead.
Kunwar Raina unleashed a flurry of boundaries to pulverize Mohali attack into submission and take the vital first innings lead for his team and pip Mohali at the post.

Chasing Mohali's formidable totals of 373 in 95 overs Patiala made a rousing reply by putting on 176 runs in 44 overs before their opener Jiwanjot Singh was caught by Sachin Sohal of Gunjot Singh for 73 off 142 balls studded with 12 boundaries.
Opener Raina continued to flourish and was third man out with the team's total reading 255 in 62.5 overs after completing an enterprising century (151) off 190 balls placed with 18 well- struck boundaries and two towering sixes. The other notable contributions came from Preetkamal (33), Himashu Chawla (36) Beant Singh 26 not out. For Mohali, Gunjot Singh (4/115) was the most successful bowler.
At Amritsar, Chandigarh got two points against hosts by notching 75-run first innings lead. Chasing Amritsar's 192, Chandigarh were all out for 267 in 93.4 overs. For visitors, Anshul Tripahathi (46), Udit Hari Mehta (55) and Anil Sihag (36) were the main run getters. For home team. Rahul (6/65) and Vinay Chouwdhary (3/80) were the main wicket-takers. Chandigarh completed match its first match with two points after three wash out games at home.

At Ludhiana, home team resuming at overnight 36 for 2 scored 152 for 8 in 60 overs before declaring their innings. They were well-served by their wicket keeper Gitansh Khera who scored a polished 66 off 94 balls containing 10 boundaries.
For Jalandhar, left arm spinner Yogesh Kumar bowled a tantalizing spell and claimed six wickets by giving away just 39 runs in 17 overs. Jalandhar, in their second innings, were 171 for 4 in 37 overs before stumps were drawn after the start of mandatory overs. Anmol Singh (67), Abhishek Gupta (29) were the main run-getters for Jalandhar. Ludhiana got two points for the first innings lead.
