The NFL Scouting Combine is where dreams are made or broken. It’s a high-stakes proving ground where prospects have one shot to boost their draft stock and secure a life-changing rookie contract. A dominant performance can send them soaring up the boards, while a misstep could cost them millions. With the NFL Draft fast approaching, several overlooked prospects outside the top 100 are ready to make their mark and shake up the conversation.

QB Dillon Gabriel, Oregon

Last season, rookie quarterbacks Jayden Daniels and Bo Nix thrived thanks to their wealth of experience. Even before them, Brock Purdy proved that entering the league with extensive playing time can make all the difference. Dillon Gabriel’s path is just as intriguing, having started at three different schools, shaping him into a battle-tested competitor.Size might be a concern for some teams, but Gabriel’s track record speaks for itself. The Hawaii native has showcased elite consistency, delivering passes with precision, touch, and anticipation. With the amount of time he spent in college, he could’ve earned a post-graduate degree and that deep football IQ is evident every time he steps on the field.

RB Bhayshul Tuten, Virginia Tech

Tuten’s football journey saw him dominate at North Carolina A&T for two seasons before transferring to Virginia Tech in 2023. At 5-foot-11 and 209 pounds, he has the ideal frame to be an NFL feature back. His breakaway speed helped him rack up nearly 1,200 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns, making him a dangerous offensive weapon. In a stacked draft class loaded with talented running backs, standing out won’t be easy. But with the right performance in Indianapolis, Tuten has a golden opportunity to elevate his draft stock.

S Craig Woodson, California

Woodson is a sharp, instinctive defensive back who commands the middle of the field with confidence. While many fixate on speed and athleticism, the real key to a standout safety is their ability to read the game. A player who can anticipate offensive plays and react faster than his competition gains a serious edge, even without elite physical traits. At the end of the day, a defensive back’s job is to stop the ball carrier and Woodson checks every box with his awareness, instincts, and playmaking ability.

WR Kyle Williams, Washington State

While the running back group is stacked with talent, the wide receiver class feels noticeably thin. Yet, Williams stands out as a natural at the position. His crisp route running and knack for creating separation in short-to-intermediate routes make him a serious threat on the field. Despite his smaller frame, there’s a touch of Randall Cobb in his game. Last season, he proved his playmaking ability, hauling in 70 receptions for 1,198 yards and 14 touchdowns.

OT Logan Brown, Kansas

Brown is a physically dominant right tackle with the ideal NFL frame, but his technique especially hand placement and mid-play adjustments needs refinement. As teams seek high-upside prospects on Day 3, Brown stands out. His raw talent is undeniable, and with patience, he could develop into a force. Notably, TruMedia credits him with zero sacks allowed on 279 pass-blocking reps.A top-10 high school recruit, Brown began at Wisconsin before transferring. NFL teams often gamble on former first-rounders, like the Eagles did with Mekhi Becton.

CB Alijah Huzzie, North Carolina

In today’s NFL, the nickel-back position is as crucial as a starting role. The top teams this season thrived with strong slot play, just look at Mike Sainristil (Commanders), Cooper DeJean (Eagles), and Taron Johnson (Bills), among others. This year’s draft class features several promising nickel prospects, and Huzzie is certainly one of them. Any team relying on a nickel defender to control the middle of the field needs a player with relentless toughness and the ability to bring down the ball carrier with authority.

OL Jalen Rivers, Miami

Once viewed with skepticism due to his foot speed as an offensive tackle, Rivers has found his stride as an interior prospect. His lateral quickness stands out, enabling him to mirror defenders effectively, while his sharp awareness helps him recognize and react to movement in his gap. His relentless motor is evident on film, constantly seeking work when disengaged and playing with a tenacious edge. Built with a powerful lower frame and impressive upper-body strength, he excels in generating movement in the run game, making his presence felt in the trenches. Also Read: Will the Titans take Abdul Carter at No. 1? EDGE Jordan Burch, Oregon

Burch is on a path I like to call the "D.J. Johnson rehabilitation program." Johnson, once a prized recruit, navigated early career position changes at Miami before thriving at Oregon. Burch, however, arrived from South Carolina as a more refined talent and now, he’s taking his game to another level. His power and relentless motor make him a force, but his greatest asset is his sheer size. At 6-foot-5 and 275 pounds, he’s a matchup nightmare with the flexibility to dominate on the edge or shift inside when the situation demands.
