According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the legendary quarterback is “entering the critical stretch” of making his final decision — and it could make or break Pittsburgh’s offseason plans.“If Aaron Rodgers decides that he wants to play in Pittsburgh… I would think that he would want to be there, boots on the ground, from Day 1 of the offseason program,” Schefter said on his podcast. It’s a logical stance, especially considering the 40-year-old quarterback missed all of the 2023 season with an Achilles injury. However, history suggests Rodgers may not prioritize early workouts — he skipped mandatory minicamp with the Jets last year to travel to Egypt.The uncertainty is putting clear pressure on the Steelers’ coaching staff and front office.
