Aaron Rodgers luck favors as Seahawks urges for a meeting

Even though former New York Jets star Davante Adams has decided not to follow Aaron Rodgers anymore, Rodgers still holds a healthy market.Davante Adams is all set to sign a new deal with the Los Angeles Rams for two years. According to reports, Adams will now be one of the premiere receivers on the team.Aaron Rodgers always had a good hold in the market of the free agency which made him the No.1 choice for the Seattle Seahawks.There were a lot of rumors since the time of the league when Rodger was without a team. He was released from the New York Jets earlier this year and several teams’ eyes were locked on him.The New York Giants, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Tennessee Titans are the big names that have surfaced who have been interested in Aaron Rodgers but the Seahawks stole the man.According to a report from The Athletic on Sunday, March 9, it is said that the Seahawks will meet Rodger and his representatives soon to fill the empty spot.Both the receivers, Rodger and Adams, were known to elevate the Jets team but unfortunately, luck did not favor the team for the 2024 season.With the New York ending the season with a 5-12 record, a lot of reshuffling and firing took place. The head coach Robert Saleh was fired after 5 weeks and was replaced by Jeff Ulbrich to head the team.The distinct relationship between Adams and Rodger continued with 1,063 yards and 8 touchdowns even though the Jets were reeling under struggles and crisis.The Seattle has been the busiest team in the league for trading players such as DK Metcalf to Pittsburgh Steelers and quarterback Geno Smith to the Las Vegas Raiders.Smith’s trading was a shock as Seattle is just left with Sam Howell as quarterback. The only backlash that can be predicted is if the Seahawks sign Rodgers, then he has to do it without the most trusted receiver Adams.ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler said that Rodger holds a mentorship and leadership power which can be useful to guide Geno Smith.
