Drake reportedly declines Super Bowl LX Halftime guest spot for a "Wholesome" reason

While the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks battle for the trophy, the music world is buzzing over reports that Drake was invited to perform alongside Bad Bunny during today’s Halftime Show but he chose to turn it down. The reason why the "6 God" is staying in the stands is quite wholesome, if true.

Why Drake is Skipping the Super Bowl Stage

According to recent reports, the NFL and Bad Bunny reached out to Drake for a surprise cameo at Levi’s Stadium. However, insiders claim the Toronto rapper passed on the opportunity.



The reason? He reportedly wanted the world to stay focused on his "brother" Benito (Bad Bunny). Drake and Bad Bunny have been close friends and collaborators since their 2018 hit "MIA," and Drake allegedly felt that his presence might overshadow Bad Bunny’s milestone as the first solo Latino artist to headline the show.

While fans are praising Drake for his "classy" gesture of loyalty, there is more to the story. This isn't the first time Drake has declined the big stage. Industry experts note he has reportedly turned down the Super Bowl multiple times (specifically in 2020 and 2021) due to the NFL's policy of not paying its halftime performers.
