Over the last few hours, a parody account on X made a post about a number of players listed the popular quarterback Aaron Rodgers under the list of “Quarterbacks Registered as Republicans”.

This has sparked a heated debate among fans. But the post is a lie since Aaron Rodgers has often been vocai about how he does not align with the beliefs of either major political party.

While some fans have been able to debunk the fake post, others seem convinced by it.

However, the star player Aaron Rodgers has not reacted to the speculations yet as he remains silent.

Aaron Rodgers has often spoken about how “politics is a sham”

For the unversed, back in 2024, Aaron Rodgers had made an appearance on Barstool Sports’ "Pardon My Take," where he opened up about his political ideologies.

The veteran quarterback said, "Politics, I’ve said from the beginning, is an absolute sham. And if we’ve seen anything whether what they did to Bernie Sanders in 2016, that we saw in the (John) Podesta emails or the fact that nothing really ever changes…”

Aaron Rodgers added, “All they talk about is what they’re gonna do, and then life doesn’t actually get better for any of us – whether it’s a Republican or a Democrat. And we’re still doing the same f---ing two-party system. Not letting Bobby get in or anybody else…”

The Pittsburgh Steelers’ star player continued, "It’s certain colors in some states. There’s certain people you gotta submit it to in other states. It’s a certain amount of votes in certain states. It’s a f---ing joke."

While Aaron Rodgers’ opinions have raised eyebrows throughout the last few years, all eyes are on his last year on the field.
