Jonathan Owens’ Olympic gold medalist wife Simone Biles turns into NFL photographer for Chicago Bears vs San Francisco 49ers

Jonathan Owens’ wife, Simone Biles, took part in the NFL Celebrity Photographer Series during the Chicago Bears vs. San Francisco 49ers game at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. The 11-time Olympic gold medalist wore an NFL media vest and carried a Sony camera while capturing photos. She called it “just a little side gig” and hugged San Francisco 49ers star running back Christian McCaffrey’s wife, Olivia Culpo, on the gridiron just before the matchup.The decorated gymnast joined the league’s Live Content Correspondents and took pictures of players from both teams, especially the Bears, including her husband and Bears safety, Jonathan Owens. As Owens posed for her, one of the WAGs reminded Biles to show him her tribute on the vest. Biles called him over and showed off her media vest with the number “36,” matching her husband’s jersey. Even when she’s side-gigging, she pays heartfelt tribute to her husband.The NFL’s official X account shared the Olympics icon’s introductory speech. She said, “Hey guys, I’m Simone Biles, and we’re here at Sunday Night Football, where the Bears take on the 49ers, and I’m going to be taking some photographs.” Biles, usually found in the VIP suite with other WAGs enjoying a relaxed spectator approach, took on some league responsibilities and got onto the gridiron to photograph the players in action. She shared a selfie on Instagram Story with the caption: “side quest coming sooooooon.” While Biles was a guest photographer at Sunday’s game, her Olympic colleague Suni Lee took on the same role on Christmas Day for the Minnesota Vikings vs. Detroit Lions game at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minnesota. Lee is a native of Saint Paul, Minnesota. The six-time Olympic gold medalist won gold in both Tokyo and Paris alongside Simone Biles. The 22-year-old gymnast has represented the United States at the past two Games.
