A few hours ago, the popular San Francisco 49ers star player took to his Instagram to share a few pictures from the horror that unfolded on Sunday night.


One picture shows his wife, Claire Kittle, planting a kiss on his forehead, while another shows him hugging Kyle Shanahan due to his injury.

George Kittle’s heartfelt caption read as, “Football sucks sometimes. But I love it. I love these guys and this team. Heartbroken but have felt so much love and support from everyone reaching out. I’ll be good.”

The popular San Francisco 49ers’ star player added, “Thank you. We aren’t done yet! Also when your team owner is the first person to meet you in the locker room, you know you’re in a special place. �� cheers, all my love.”

To this, his wife, Claire Kittle, responded, “I love you my Super hero!” and fans are moved by this response.

Claire Kittle has always been a strong source of strength and support to George Kittle and she is often spotted cheering on her husband at almost all the matches.

San Francisco 49ers remain confident despite losing George Kittle

While George Kittle’s injury has sparked panic among fans, the team remains confident even after losing him.

The San Francisco 49ers’ coach, Kyle Shanahan, spoke about George Kittle’s injury after the match as he said, “Losing Kittle early in the game, it was obviously a depressing play for everybody. Once I heard on the headset, just going over there, just felt horrible for Kittle.”

He added, “Jake [Tonges] and Luke [Farrell] had stepped it up for us all year so. So I think the guys had a lot of confidence in those guys that they could still do it. But I think everyone’s just hurting for Kittle.”
