Two events happened in a span of days. One quarterback introduced a president: Jaxson Dart introduced US President Donald Trump. One running back was arrested for an alleged domestic violence case: Josh Jacobs was arrested for five domestic abuse-related charges.Ryan Clark reportedly chose to pay heed to the quarterback more than the running back.

Ryan Clark vocal on Jaxson Dart but silent on Josh Jacobs

Former NFL player and renowned Washington Commanders [then Redskins] safety Ryan Clark shared his views on the New York Giants quarterback:“Jaxson Dart seems to be a good young man,” Clark captioned. “He can support whoever he pleases, but that support affirms certain things to his locker room. Abdul Carter should have handled things differently, but his disappointment is understandable. The President clearly has picked a side, and standing next to him gives the impression that you have too. Which means you stand in direct opposition of the majority of your teammates. It’s a conversation to be had behind closed doors, but it is an important conversation.” But when Josh Jacobs’ case was hitting cyberspace, Ryan Clark did not reportedly share anything. This was brought to notice by an X account called “JVT,” a former producer at The Blaze.
JVT shared Clark’s views on Dart and wrote, “Has Ryan Clark discussed Josh Jacobs allegedly beating his girlfriend yet?”When Jacobs was trending on X a few days ago after his alleged DV case, one particular post by Clark was doing the rounds online as well. It featured the Green Bay Packers running back. But the post was a year old and was from when Jacobs was discussing former NFL player Henry Ruggs III on Clark’s The Pivot podcast.

Josh Jacobs hopes Henry Ruggs III gets another chance to play in the NFL

The Packers RB is close to Ruggs, and he was supposed to go out with Ruggs the night Ruggs was arrested. If he had gone, Tina Tintor’s death could have been avoided, and Ruggs could have been free --- captioned Ryan Clark on X.A year back, Jacobs said that he was still in touch with Ruggs and his family. They “talk all the time.” He hopes that Ruggs gets another shot at playing in the NFL when he’s free. Henry Ruggs III becomes eligible for parole on August 5, 2026. He is currently serving a three-to-ten-year prison sentence in Nevada for a fatal 2021 DUI crash. Like the Giants QB post, this post also reached over a million views back then. But when it came to discussing Jacobs’ alleged DV case over Jaxson Dart introducing Donald Trump, Ryan Clark probably chose the latter… Though they may be bound by strict policies not to comment on such sensitive/critical matters, a fellow Washington Commanders [then Redskins] quarterback, Robert Griffin III, has reportedly indirectly commented on it by tweeting, “Real men don’t hit women.”
