Shannon Sharpe had demanded the release of the full tape amid assault allegations by the former model

Shannon Sharpe, the NFL legend, has gone through a pretty traumatic time in the last few months after he was sued for $50 million and was then fired by ESPN. The NFL legend was accused of repeatedly sexually assaulting a 20 year old woman, who was an model at that time. Amid all the mess, Shannon Sharpe had demanded in April 2025 that their full s*x tape should be released in public.

The former ESPN host, Shannon Sharpe, had strongly denied that he assaulted the 20 year old former model and insisted that the two were in an “exclusive and consensual relationship” with each other.



In a video that Shannon Sharpe had posted on his social media in April 2025, he wanted his s*x tape with the 20 year old woman be released in public.

Shannon Sharpe said, "I believe he's going to release a 30-second clip of a sex tape that tries to make me look guilty and play into every stereotype you could possibly imagine.”

The NFL legend added, "That video should actually be 10 minutes or so. Hey, Tony, instead of releasing your edit, put the whole video out. I don't have it, or I would myself."

Shannon Sharpe continued, "The encounter in question took place during the day at her invitation, and now that appears to be a deliberate setup…”

However, neither the young woman’s lawyer, Tony Buzbee, nor Shannon Sharpe’s attorneys ended up releasing the infamous s*x tape to the public.

Shannon Sharpe had also ended up releasing many of the texts that he had exchanged with the young woman on his social media to prove his innocence.

But all of it actually ended up backfiring on Shannon Sharpe as he got brutally mocked and trolled for getting sexually involved with a woman who was younger than his own children.

A few weeks ago, Shannon Sharpe ended up paying $20 million to the young woman in order to settle the trail.

While the lawsuit might have reached a settlement, it seems Shannon Sharpe will be mocked for years because of this.
