“Shouldn't there be some integrity”: Tom Brady faces renewed Hall of Fame backlash as cheating accusations resurface

The argument did not stop there. Parker drew a line across sports history, placing Brady alongside disgraced legends. “Tom Brady is best described as Lance Armstrong without the bicycle. They cheated! They cheated. Bill Belichick and Tom Brady are connected at the hip, this is what should happen. Look at Robert Kraft! He's been denied 13 years in a row! He's not in the Hall of Fame as an owner.”

Supporters of Brady push back hard. They point out that controversies like Deflategate never produced evidence comparable to the cases of Pete Rose, Barry Bonds, or Roger Clemens. They also note that Lance Armstrong admitted systematic cheating, while Brady never did.

Brady himself defended his longtime coach with conviction. “I don't understand it. I was with him every day. If he's not a first-ballot Hall of Famer, there's really no coach that should ever be a first-ballot Hall of Famer, which is completely ridiculous, because people deserve it.”

For now, the Hall remains silent. But the noise outside its doors is growing louder, and it is no longer just about wins.
