A few hours ago, in her popular newsletter Beau Society, the “True Grit” actress Hailee Steinfeld wrote about how she has been spending her time reading the Heng Ou, Amely Greeven and Marisa Belger’s book The First 40 Days.

Hailee Steinfeld wrote, “There’s a paragraph early on that talks about how even forty days after giving birth, you’re still in such a vulnerable state…”

The BAFTA nominated actress added, “People understand that about your new baby, but they don’t understand that about you, the mom.”

Hailee Steinfeld continued, “I’m still in this early period and need to remember to be super gentle with myself in every way — physically, mentally, nutritionally, spiritually, all of it.”

The renowned actress added, “My body has gone through a lot of change recently, so I’m taking it slow while I figure out what my workout routine will look like moving forward…”
