“We need good guys”: Haley Baylee makes a controversial confession amid $75k lawsuit filed by ex husband Matt Kalil

Matt Kalil, former NFL star player, and his ex wife, popular influencer Haley Baylee, are engaged in a bitter legal fight with each other, weeks after she made inappropriate and controversial remarks about him.

While Matt Kalil has now sued his ex wife, Haley Baylee, it seems the popular influencer is ready to fight the lawsuit. Amid the lawsuit, Haylee Baylee has now broken her silence and opened up about her personal life.

A few days ago, Haley Baylee was spotted at the WWD 2026 Style Awards where she spoke to E! News about what will be the “ins and outs” for her in the new year.


Haley Baylee said, “In is going to be good guys…We need some good guys.”

The popular influencer added, “Out is going to be ego, pride, being a mean anybody. Like, say 'goodbye' to mean and 'hello' to nice.”

Why is Haley Baylee being sued by Matt Kalil?

Haley Baylee’s confession comes at a time when her ex husband, Matt Kalil, has accused her of subjecting him to “unwanted attention and invasive commentary from the public”.

The lawsuit also stated that Matt Kalil’s family members “have been forced to endure the ongoing public circulation of these degrading and deeply personal statements”.

At this point in time, the former NFL player, Matt Kalil has sued Haley Baylee for a whopping $75,000 and is looking for a jury trial to gain more through this.

Though Haley Baylee had previously commented on how “hurtful” it has been for her as she never expected Matt Kalil to sue her, her legal team has slammed the lawsuit.

As per PEOPLE, Haley Baylee’s legal team said, "The claims seek to dramatically expand existing law and establish damaging new precedent by imposing liability on a woman for merely speaking openly and truthfully about a prior relationship…”

The popular influencer’s legal team added, “That raises serious First Amendment concerns, especially in a case involving two public figures."

Haley Baylee and Matt Kalil divorced in 2022 and the former NFL star player has remarried and now has a daughter.
