Former AEW Star Discusses Absence from All In Pay-Per-View Event
In the wrestling world, it is not just the fighting capabilities that determine a wrestler’s popularity but also various aspects of their personal lives that appear catnip to popular and media attention. One amongst them is Ricky Starks who is known for making a significant impact in wrestling promotions like AEW (All Elite Wrestling) where he has been a prominent figure.
His exceptional fighting skills and impressive accomplishments enhanced his success and helped bring popular attention to the promotion. Fans love him for more than just his remarkable in-ring acumen. It is his charismatic persona, a knack for incorporating intriguing stories into the match, creating memorable feuds, and his ability to deliver engaging matches that added to his popularity and incredible success.
Recently, Starks generated widespread attention by revealing the reasons for missing out on the All In Pay-Per-View Event which has once again put him in the spotlight. Let’s shine some light on it.
In a recent development, Ricky Starks, a former FTW Champion disclosed why he missed the All In show and what he was doing at that time. During the show’s zero-hour pre-show, The London crowd was thrilled at seeing the Women World’s Champion, Jamie Hayter who made a dramatic comeback after an absence of nearly a year. The buzz quickly spread across social media. Everyone seemed to be living in the moment cheering for Hayter except Starks who made a delayed response in regard to displaying his enthusiasm.
After the show, he took to X (formerly Twitter) to express his enthusiasm but his excitement was met with disapproval from the fans who called out his tardiness online. In response to the criticism and questions about delay, he explained that he had been at the movies with his mother during the event, which caused him to miss the broadcast. Humorously answering the questions, he said, “I went to the movies with my mum… I’m going to catch up on the full stream when I’m home.”
He even clarified to one of his fans that he would catch up on the show at his convenience. While some fans praised his decision to spend time with his family, others were surprised by this apparent detachment of a well-known wrestler from such a well-known event.
