Rey Mysterio Gives Uplifting Reply to His Opponent’s Bold Words

Austin Creed, who is better known as WWE star Xavier Woods, got into an altercation with Rey Mysterio last week. Woods’ team, The New Day, consisting of him and Kofi Kingston, lost a match against American Made during the last episode of Monday Night Raw. After a disappointing loss, Woods made his way to the back area and was greeted by Rey Mysterio.
However, Woods was not in the moods for a friendly interaction and the two got into an altercation.Now, Xavier is set to face Rey Mysterio on next week’s episode of Monday Night Raw. Ahead of the match, Woods took to X and sent out a message addressing his upcoming bout.
Woods mentioned that Rey Mysterio is someone who has inspired him to fight for himself and what he believes in. Xavier then went on to mention that he was in the right during their altercation last week and will prove the same when he meets Rey in the ring. The WWE legend had a reply of his own. Let’s take a look at what Rey had to say to Xaviers’ message:
“Appreciate the inspirational vibe, we gonna have to see about the rest!”

Rey Mysterio is a wrestling legend who is appreciated by many promotions, including WWE and CMLL. He has honed his skills for years and has risen to the top of the wrestling world off of his skill alone. So for Xavier to say that he will prove himself right against Rey Mysterio seems a little far-fetched.
However, we do have to take into account that Mysterio is nearing the final stages of his career. He is currently 49 years old and has lost a lot of the athleticism that helped him dominate early on in his career. So, with his Rey's age in mind, it would be safe to say that his upcoming match with Xavier Woods could go either way.
But, we do have to remember that Rey Mysterio has made a career out of proving people wrong, so you can never count him out regardless of what the situation looks like. Moreover, it is clear from Rey’s reply to Woods that he is counting on himself to win. Hopefully, we’ll get to see a quality match out of these two when they take the ring on the upcoming episode of RAW.
