Last night’s episode of
WWE NXT was originally supposed to feature Nathan Frazer and Axiom against The Rascalz consisting of Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz. Unfortunately, Ava announced a few days before the match that the Rascalz would not be able to compete due to unforeseen circumstances and would be replaced by The Street Profits.
The replacement team came in and put up an excellent performance against Frazer and Axiom, which got them praise from NBA star, Tyrese Haliburton. Unfortunately, the Bloodline came to ruin the night for everyone. Tama Tonga, Jacob Fatu and Tonga Loa exploded onto the scene and took out all teams leading to the match being canceled.
Even if the Rascalz were participating last night, their match would also be ruined due to this mistake. However, fans have still been wondering just why they couldn’t make it to the fight against Axiom and Frazer. According to Dave Meltzer, The Rascalz were not able to fight because of an injury sustained by Trey Miguel. Let’s take a closer look at how this affects the future for the TNA stars.

All we know at the moment is that Miguel has suffered an injury. However, if that really is the case, Ava could’ve easily made this information public when she announced that they were pulling out of the title match.
Moreover, we don’t have any information or a recovery timeline for Trey Miguel’s injury, so there is no telling just when he’ll be back in action.
Before Trey went down, Zachary Wentz was close to finishing his redemption tour standing just one win away from his goal. If the Rascalz had managed to beat Frazer and Axiom it would’ve completed their revenge against Wes Lee. Unfortunately, they couldn’t even make it to the title match despite qualifying for it.
It looks like Zachary Wentz and Trey Miguel will have to head back to the drawing board and come up with new ideas while they still can. Hopefully, Miguel’s injury will give the TNA stars enough time off to properly prepare for any future title matches.
