WWE Raw Results Today (8/12): Bron Breakker retains the Intercontinental Title

The latest episode of Raw delivered an action-packed lineup, highlighted by a thrilling main event: a 2-out-of-3 Falls Match for the Intercontinental Championship. After his victory over Sami Zayn at this year’s SummerSlam, Bron Breakker faced the former champion once again, and as expected, both competitors put everything on the line to make the match a spectacle. From the opening bell, the intensity never faded, with Bron and Sami exchanging powerful strikes and executing impressive moves in their quest for victory. The match kept the WWE Universe on the edge of their seats, culminating in an incredible finish.As soon as the bell rang, the match kicked off unexpectedly, catching everyone off guard. Zayn then unleashed a few overhand chops on Breakker before executing a Tornado DDT out of the corner. He went for a pin, but Breakker kicked out. In response, Breakker delivered a German suplex to Zayn, followed by a powerful clothesline. But just as Breakker turned around, Sami Zayn connected with a Helluva Kick, securing the first fall.The action then spilled outside the ring, where Breakker punished Zayn. Breakker caught Sami and hurled him over the barricade near the timekeeper's area. He then dragged Zayn back into the ring, hitting a powerslam and following it up with a thunderous spear to even the score. The fans were on the edge of their seats, eager to see who would claim victory.Both men continued to dominate each other, once again taking the fight outside the ring. Breakker landed a few blows on Zayn, then launched himself off the apron, sending Zayn crashing onto the announce desk with a clothesline. After the vicious attack, Breakker returned to the ring, hoping to win by count-out, but Zayn beat the count.Breakker then tried to set Zayn up on the ropes, but Zayn countered with a Sunset Flip powerbomb and went for a pin. Breakker kicked out and attempted to set up for a spear, but Zayn intercepted him with another Helluva Kick and went for the pin, only for Breakker to shockingly kick out. Zayn then climbed to the top turnbuckle, aiming to finish Breakker, but it proved to be a mistake. Breakker caught him mid-air with a spear, pinned him, and successfully retained the Intercontinental Title.
