It's quite often that Bollywood and television celebs come to Jaipur to shoot in forts and other historical sites of the city, but not many of them have trodden down the streets of the city to shoot. On Fri day afternoon, the Jaipur junta got lucky as they saw the cast of the comedy show, Hum Paanch Phir Se, shooting on roads of Sitapura and Jagatpura area.
Though the cast, which has been shooting in Jaipur for over a month now, hasn't got the time to explore the city , they say that they don't mind the busy schedule as they are having a gala time shooting for the show.

Sooraj Thapar, who is playing the role of Anand Mathur on the show , says that the living together for over a month has bonded the whole team of the show.“Shooting in Jaipur has brought the whole team together and we have bonded as a big family . My team members now have started calling me daddy even when we are not shooting. We are making good memories in Jaipur,“ he says.
`I NEVER LET THE PRESSURE OF BEING COMPARED TO VIDYA BALAN TAKE OVER MY WORK'Ambalika Sapra, who plays the role of Radhika on the show that was earlier played by Vidya Balan in the original Hum Paanch series, says, “I never let the pressure of being compared to Vidya Balan affect my work. She added a flavour to her character and I would like to do the same but in my own way .“

, who plays the role of Sweetie on the show, says, “I have no qualms in admitting that my long curly tresses helped me bag the role. Most of the people think that I changed my look and got these curls to look like Rakhi, who played the character of Sweetie in the original series, but these are my original curls. When I went for auditions, the makers complimented me saying, you are down perfect to play Sweetie.“

Ruchi Tripathi, playing the eldest daughter Meenakshi in the show, says that the show has helped her get out of her comfort zone. “I am the youngest child in my home and the most pampered one, but it's like a role reversal for me on the sets of Hum Paanch. I'm playing the eldest sister who is a responsible girl and is very patient with people; I'm completely opposite in real life. Having said that, I am glad that I got this role as it is allowing me to come out of my comfort zone,“ she says.
`IT'S A HUGE RESPONSIBILITY TO PLAY SUCH A ICONIC ROLE'Seema Pandey , who is playing the role of mummy on the show that was played by Shoma Anand in Hum Paanch original series, says, “I stand nowhere when people compare me with Shomaji. It's a huge responsibility . But I know the UP accent as I am from Jaunpur and this has helped me a lot to play my char acter on the show.“

I just want to give my best and don't want to give anybody an opportunity to say ki maine Kajal Bhai ka naam duba diya. This is why I get extremely serious while playing my character. In one scene I had to beat a villain and I got so much into the character that I ended up hurting him.
