Infosys announces partnership with Anthropic, here's what company's stock exchange filing says
Infosys has announced a strategic partnership with Anthropic, the AI giant in order to co-develop advanced enterprise AI solution. In a filling to stock exchange, Infosys said the collaboration will initially focus on the telecommunications sector, with a dedicated Anthropic Center of Excellence to build and deploy AI agents tailored to industry-specific operations. The partnership between Infosys and Anthropic will later expand into financial services, manufacturing, and software development, integrating Anthropic’s Claude models including Claude Code with Infosys’s Topaz AI offerings.

Partnership to focus on agentic AI systems

At the core of the collaboration is the development of agentic AI systems capable of handling multi-step tasks like processing claims, generating and testing code, and managing compliance reviews. Using Anthropic’s Claude Agent SDK, Infosys and Anthropic aim to help organisations automate complex workflows while making sure the governance and transparency in regulated industries.

Industry applications

• In telecommunications, AI agents will help carriers modernize network operations, streamlinecustomer lifecycle management, and improve service delivery – bringing intelligent automation toone of the most operationally complex and heavily regulated industries in the world.
• In financial services, AI agents will help firms detect and assess risk faster, automate compliancereporting, and deliver more personalized customer interactions – such as tailoring financial advicebased on a client's full account history and market conditions.• In manufacturing and engineering, Claude will help accelerate product design and simulation,reducing R&D timelines and enabling engineers to test more iterations before production.• In software development, teams will use Claude Code to write, test, and debug code – helpingdevelopers move faster from design through production.
