Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has entered into a multiyear agreement with Canada Life, one of the world’s leading life and pensions insurers. The partnership will support the modernisation of Canada Life’s IT infrastructure services across its European businesses, focusing on resilience, automation, and enhanced customer experience.
Under the agreement, TCS will use its AI and digital expertise to modernise and manage Canada Life’s data centres, core infrastructure, end-user computing, and software lifecycle management. The transformation aims to deliver high-quality, cost-effective IT services while helping Canada Life accelerate its technology strategy and achieve stronger business outcomes.
Caroline Dibbs, Chief Information & Transformation Officer, Europe, said: “Working with TCS marks the next stage of our journey to modernise the technology foundations that underpin our business… Together, we will deliver lasting improvements to the technology services and capabilities that support our business and the people who depend on it.”
Vinay Singhvi, Head of UK & Ireland at TCS, described the partnership as a testament to the company’s leadership in AI-led transformation. He noted that the collaboration marks a significant step toward TCS’s ambition of becoming the world’s largest AI-led technology services company.
As part of the deal, TCS will expand its talent base across infrastructure services in the UK, Ireland, the Isle of Man, and Germany, investing in new learning, certification, and career development opportunities.
TCS has a proven track record of enabling digital transformation for leading insurance and pensions providers across the UK and Europe. The Canada Life partnership strengthens TCS’s position as a preferred transformation partner in the BFSI sector and reinforces its continued expansion in the UK and Ireland as a strategic hub for delivering high-value, end-to-end services.
