Leena Ganguly and Saibal Banerjee have started shooting for their Hindi serial titled Jhanak. The story revolves around Aniruddha, Arshi, and Jhanak. Aniruddha is a successful software engineer who is forced into a marriage with Jhanak, whom he met in Kashmir. Arshi, who was originally supposed to marry Aniruddha, becomes bitter towards Jhanak. Jhanak strives to excel in life but is unsure about the future of her marriage and her feelings towards Aniruddha. The series explores whether Jhanak will eventually find love with Aniruddha or if he will stay with Arshi.

We live in a world of images. Images that we have constructed in our mind, images that media has forced upon us and images that are somebody else’s imagination yet believed to be true. Unfortunately, we never confirm the validity of those images and soon they get deeply ingrained in our mind taking the form of prejudices. One such image we have built in our mind over the years, thanks to the exaggerated and somewhat false portrayal of media, is of male classical dancers.
