mallikarjun kharge

Mapanna Mallikarjun Kharge is a member of the Indian National Congress in the 16th Lok Sabha. Prior to this, he was the Minister of Railways and Minister of Labour and Employment. Since 2009, he has been a Member of Parliament for Gulbarga, Karnataka. Also, he is a prominent face in the Karnataka politics and was the Leader of the Opposition in the state’s Legislative Assembly prior to contesting the 2014 General Elections.

Kharge boasts of winning elections for 10 consecutive times in the Assembly elections. He is also considered as a competent leader with a clean public image and good knowledge of politics, legislation and administration.
