Ray Price

Left-arm spinner Ray Price is rated as the best spinner ever to play for Zimbabwe after Paul Strang and in 2003 on the England tour he was rated better than Ashley Giles. Price showed his class on the Australian tour in 2003-04 when he took six wickets in the second Test in Sydney. Back home in the series against the West Indies, Price enhanced his reputation by taking 10 wickets in the first Test in Harare and 9 wickets in Bulawayo and then took 8 wickets in two Tests in Zimbabwe's series win over Bangladesh. Price's international career was cut short in 2004 when he joined the player rebellion led by captain Heath Streak. Price returned to the Zimbabwe team in 2007 and in 2011 he was bought by Mumbai Indians at his reserve price of $50,000,in place of an injured Moises Henriques.
