Included in the 2013 National Geographic’s list as one of the world’s 100 most beautiful places, the beach doesn’t cease to amaze you. It was also one of the beaches to make it to the 2015 list of ‘10 most beautiful towns on the West Coast’.
The sandy beach is stretched out up to 4 miles northwards and southwards of Cannon Beach. The famous Haystack Rock is approximately midway in this vast stretch of land. If you walk on a bit farther, you will see other rock formations too which give the Oregon Coast its well-deserved recognition.
If you need any more reason as to why you should go during the off-season, then it should be great reduced prices for rooms that you need to check out for.
The quiet season also brings with it spectacular views of sunsets, cloud formations and coastal landscapes. The rays of sunlight illuminating the beach coupled with fog is a treat which is unbeatable.
Whale watching, bird watching, wild flowers, as well as herds of Roosevelt Elk are some other things on offer during the off-season.
