Belfast is a great city to explore on foot. Although the public transport is great, there is an other-worldly charm about walking around the city centre, soaking in the sights, and enjoying the world go by. Many of the famous sites and restaurants can be found in the city centre. Read less

Belfast is a great city to explore on foot. Although the public transport is great, there is an other-worldly charm about walking around the city centre, soaking in the sights, and enjoying the world go by. Many of the famous sites and restaurants can be found in the city centre.
There are plenty of parks and open spaces where one should enjoy a languorous picnic and soak in the sun, if it does decide to come out. If one is in Belfast over a weekend, a must-see place is the St. George’s market, which has a different theme on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays ranging from world-food to local arts and crafts.
