Exploring blissful beach-town – Costa Rica flaunts two coasts, The Pacific and The Atlantic. Two things to keep in mind before you head to the cost. The Pacific is rougher than the Atlantic, but there are more chances of spotting animals in the deep sea of Pacific. Also, dry seasons are better as water is still, than windy and rainy rough seasons. The visibility gets affected and under water it is all about visibility. If you don’t know already, to be able to dive you will need to be certified by Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI). Which means you will have to learn diving in a simulated environment (a swimming pool), appear for an examination and then taken to the sea with a teacher for your first underwater dive. This is at least a five day affair. Fainthearted people, who have a slight fear of water, would find themselves struggling. But once you do, you will explore the phenomenal underwater world of corals and schools of fish. The most popular spots besides Tamarindo, is Playas del Coco to get certified.
