Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Assam, is one of India's most remarkable wildlife destinations. Home to the world’s largest population of the one-horned rhinoceros, this biodiverse haven offers some of the most thrilling wildlife experiences in the country. A jeep safari is the best way to explore Kaziranga’s diverse landscapes, from grasslands to wetlands. The park is famous for its "Big Five" – the one-horned rhinoceros, Royal Bengal tiger, Asiatic elephant, wild water buffalo, and swamp deer. Early morning and late afternoon safaris provide the best chances to spot these magnificent creatures.

For an immersive experience, take an elephant safari through the tall grasslands. This allows for an intimate encounter with rhinos, as elephants can get closer to them than vehicles. The safari is especially magical in the misty mornings when wildlife activity is at its peak.
