Housed in a traditional whitewashed Thai house—designed by prominent Thai interior designer and descendant of the royal family ML Poomchai Chumbala—Agalico stands head and shoulders above other cafes in the style stakes. Immaculate white surfaces and hardwood floors flow throughout the house, which is strewn with decorative birdcages and pristine couches.
Even more impressive is Mr Chumbala's wealth of talent—not only is he the designer and owner, he also bakes all the cakes daily.
