The concept of food trucks has caught up in India in a big way and Bhubaneshwar has lapped it up with both hands. The usual fast food affair with rolls, chowmein and fried rice gracing the menu, they were a few food trucks scattered sporadically across the city. It has been taken to whole new level at Food Street in Ram Mandir square. With lip smacking options of Mexican, Italian, Indian, Chinese and American cuisine, there are 7-8 trucks serving up to 600-700 customers per day. Apart from the above Mexican delights, there are also trucks which serve Chinese items with Chicken Lollipop and Kathi Rolls being the most favoured. The smaller trucks sell flavoured soda which acts as the perfect combination with your fast food. The mango flavour is a must try.
