Kindli is a fine eatery that takes immense pride in its traditions and colonial past. A part of the classy hotel of the same name serves superlative Swiss and Central European food. The best names on the menu include Veal Escalopes with French Fries, Sliced Calf’s Liver with Sage and Rosti and a Filet of Beef that comes with egg noodles and winter black truffles. There is also a nice chocolate gateau, a luscious caramel flan and several cheese platters for guests to devour. Kindli’s extensive wine list has names from Switzerland and France apart from potent variants from Italy and Spain. The food is presented daintily and surprisingly comes in large portions. Chef Benedict, who is at the helm of the restaurant, is truly a genius. The servers are equally attentive and amicable.
