Kafé Celsius
Popular café in charming historic surroundings
Talk of the town: Christiana torv is where King Christian IV decided to rebuild the city after a devastating fire in 1624.

Word to the wise: Several works by Norwegian contemporary artist Hariton Pushwagner are on display inside.
Located right on Christiana torv, one of Oslo's prettiest squares, Celsius is a lively café-restaurant popular with artists, writers and students. Its pretty courtyard has plenty of seating for the summer months, while the huge fireplace inside makes it a cozy winter retreat.

As well as the full range of barista coffees, Celsius offers a number of Norwegian and international beers and a good wine list, including sparkling and dessert wines. Food is quality bar fare - burgers, sandwiches, salads – alongside more refined main courses such as Celcius' signature dish, baked salmon with asparagus salad and Alsace potatoes.
