For a traveller who likes to go local and experience a place up close and personal, Karma Restaurant is one of the best places to enjoy a meal. Far from the madding crowd of tourists and the typical buffet restaurants of Thimphu, the Karma Restaurant brings some of the most popular Bhutanese delicacies to the table, in a place that has a welcoming and pleasant feel to it, thanks to the thoughtful decor. Bathup (noodle soup), fish curry, mushroom datse and shakam datse (dried beef with cheese) are some of the most popular dishes served in this place.
