If a café could win an award for being the most popular one in Peru, then Jack’s Café would definitely be the one. This café and eatery, located in Cusco, is so popular that there is always a queue outside. Jack’s Café has Australian roots, which explains the quality of the coffee. Opt for the flat white and you will go back for seconds. However good coffee is just the tip of the iceberg here. Breakfasts at Jack’s Café will seduce you within seconds. Omelettes, fried eggs, French toast, pancakes, and sandwiches—you name it and they have it. Even regular dishes taste so good at Jack’s Café that you don’t have an option but to succumb to its charms. If you’re craving local flavours then try their guacamole or Huevos rancheros (corn tortillas topped with fried eggs and salsa). Our favourite time to visit Jack’s Café is breakfast because there are long queues later in the day. Portions at Jack’s Café are huge; so make sure you go hungry.
