The actual truck itself doesn’t look like anything fancy, but what comes out of this truck actually makes it one of the sought-after food trucks in the city. If you are a taco lover, this is one of the best places to chow down and in fact it is its taco that has made this food truck so popular. Marc Swerda, former teacher and self-taught chef, brought this food truck to life in the fall of 2013 and has since been pumping incredible food out every Thursday night and at various festivals. There are four different kinds of tacos to choose from including jerk chicken, grilled shrimp taco, braised beef taco and orange ancho braised pork taco. That’s not the only thing you can get at this gourmet taco truck though as it offers pork and beef burritos, as well as a variety of salads. Swerda puts a ton of international flavours in his dishes including corn salsa, kimchi fried rice and black beans, grilled pineapple salsa, mango chutney and more.
