Horizon Karon Beach Resort & Spa

Set a short distance back from the beach, Horizon Karon Beach Resort and Spa is surrounded by lush vegetation, raised slightly on the hillside. The green surroundings and contemporary Asian design of the resort give it a tranquil and relaxing ambience. The hotel is comprised of two wings separated by the entrance and lobby area and includes 3 and storey modern buildings. It is centred on families and includes swimming pools and a kids club. The hotel does have a wing that is for adults only (18 years and above) for private relaxation.

Rooms
The Horizon Wing has been designed specifically for families. There are two large swimming pools with swim-up pool bar and a separate baby pool and a kids club. The Privilege club wing has a stream and water feature on one side of its gardens and pool. There is also a Jacuzzi in the club wing. The hotel features six different types of rooms appropriate for individual couples and families: Superior room pool view, superior room sea facing, honeymoon suite, deluxe room, club room and club Room pool access.
Restaurants & Bars
The hotel hosts Baluchi restaurant, the award-winning Indian restaurant with its tastes of tandoori & curries. The sea view coffee shop is an open air restaurant with views over the Andaman Sea, which serves an international buffet breakfast and set theme buffet dinners on selected evenings. Bordertown Restaurant & Bar serves Mexican food and Continental, Thai and Italian dishes. Orchid lounge offers a wide variety of western, Asian and Thai cuisine while Privilege Club Lounge, located in the Club wing offers drinks and light snacks in a relaxed setting.

Facilities
There are three large Swimming pools, two are located at the Horizon Wing and are available for all hotel guests. A separate baby pool is set up for small children to play. The third pool is for the exclusive guests of the Club Wing. Kids club "Jack & Jill" is for guests ages 4 to 12 and offers supervised activities. Sontaya Spa offers massages and spa treatments for guests' relaxation and wellbeing.
