There are so many things to do in Havana, and there are several ways to get around in the city. The quickest and most convenient way to get around, is by hailing a Cubataxi. With their odd-looking tortoise-like rounded exteriors painted yellow and black—although the paint jobs vary in certain cases—they all sport a taxi sign at the top, and are easily affordable. You could also jump aboard a shared máquina (a collective taxi), though you’ll have to keep your eyes peeled for them, and need to know what route it’s taking. If you’re travelling close distances, just get on an inexpensive bici taxi and enjoy being wheeled around.
