Wadi Rum is stunning in its raw beauty. Its untouched surroundings are awe-inspiring and it is almost eerie to experience nature from such close quarters. To explore the region, tourists should head straight to the Visitor's centre from where they can arrange a trip to travel around in this unfamiliar terrain. You can either hire a 4x4 vehicle, along with a Bedouin guide and driver, and complete the entire trip in a couple of hours. Alternatively a camel and guide can be hired to take you around to absorb the desert view on camel back .The Bedouins at the visitor centre are warm and friendly and help you get the best experience possible. So go here to get your trip coordinated according to how you would like to do it and enjoy some conversation with the Bedouins too. They have immense knowledge of the area and it is interesting to get titbits of information from them.
Wadi Rum is not be missed- you just have to go there while you are visiting Jordan.
