Disney has announced the return of its famous races and princess yoga activities. So those who were waiting to run in their favorite Disney costume, this is their chance. Given the pandemic situation, all such fun activities were discontinued in the park. But now almost after a year of virtual races, Walt Disney World has decided to start in-person races this fall. This year's race theme is absolutely interesting and Wickedly Delicious. The race will celebrate some popular villains of Disney, from Ursula to Jafar. As per schedule, the park will host four race weekends which will begin with the popular Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend from November 4-7, 2021.
Interested people have to choose from the 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, and Disney Two Course Challenge (10K and half marathon). Besides, those who participate in the maraton will also have exclusive after-hours access to EPCOT where they can enjoy the International Food & Wine Festival.
There will be live music, DJs and Disney characters too cheering participants. For those who still don’t feel comfortable with large gatherings, Walt Disney World will continue to offer virtual races.
According to the firm, next year in 2022, Walt Disney World Marathon weekend will take place from January 5-9. The runDisney race season will end with Disney Springtime Surprise Weekend on March 31-April 3, 2022.
