Taiwan quarantines China Airlines pilots in a bid to stop an outbreak of coronavirus

Taiwan is now going to quarantine all pilots of China Airlines in an attempt to stop the outbreak of COVID-19 among the crew of the airlines. According to the health minister, China Airlines will thus be grounded with all its pilots quarantined for 14 days.
The country has been able to control the virus from spreading by acting early, however there has been a new outbreak related to pilots of China Airlines in an airport hotel. In this all new outbreak, Taiwan has seen 35 cases of COVID positive patients. Hence, the nation has now taken the decision to ground China Airlines, and keep its pilots quarantined.

According to Chen Shih-chung, the Health Minister of Taiwan, authorities are trying to break the chain of transmission. However, the fact that this decision to ground the airlines is going to impact a lot of people is understood well. He said, "This will have a big impact on China Airlines, on its passenger and freighter flights, and for the crew too. But for the safety of the whole community we cannot but make this decision,"
At the end of the quarantine period, the pilots will be tested, and they will be allowed out only if they test negative. It is now believed that some of the airline pilots got infected overseas, and spread the infection upon returning to Taiwan.
