TV celebs share their plans & wishes on Ganesh Chaturthi

The festive season has started with Ganesh Chaturthi and it’s the time of the year when our super-busy TV actors join hands and participate in all the celebrations with all gusto.

We got in touch with a few TV actors and they share with us their plans and the wishes they want Bappa to fulfill! (Image: Facebook)

<strong>Vindhya Tiwary:</strong><br /> <br /> &ldquo;The first time when I came to Mumbai, Siddhivinayak was the first temple I visited and I wished to become an actor at that moment. My wish came true and since then, my faith in Ganpati has always been unshaken. Also, during this Ganesh Utsav every year, something great happens to me. So I am just waiting to receive many surprises from him.&rdquo;<br /> <br /> &ldquo;During this festive season, I spend my free time in watching different idols of Ganpati and visiting friends&rsquo; places. The whole ambience becomes so beautiful and peaceful.&rdquo;

<strong>Mohit Malik: </strong><br /> <br /> &ldquo;Ganpati festival is very exciting for me. Guests coming over and the atmosphere gives a very stress-free feeling. I really enjoy when Ganpati is around as it gives me happiness. I wish to win &lsquo;Jhalak Dikhla Ja&rsquo; this year and also wish to get a good film. Every Ganpati is memorable for me as my mom and dad come from delhi and that&rsquo;s the only time in the year when they come for the longest period.&rdquo;

<strong>Mrunal Jain:</strong><br /> <br /> &ldquo;It&rsquo;s a festival of joy and happiness where we get to visit, greet and meet our closed ones. The best part of the festival includes gulping modaks (laughs). Though I don&#39;t get the deity in my house but I do visit my friend&rsquo;s place to worship. This year, I don&rsquo;t have many wishes as Ganpati has always been very kind to me. I will only wish for the well being of my family.&rdquo;

<strong>Daljeet Kaur:</strong><br /> <br /> &ldquo;I believe this festival brings a new beginning in my life, every year. It&rsquo;s also my favourite time of the year. I have only one wish and that is to give my son nothing but the best all his life and that he has a healthy and happy life.&rdquo;<br /> <br /> &ldquo;Before getting married, I used to be a part of the programmes in my society, every year. I remember choreographing dance performances for the kids. It brings a smile on my face every time I remember it.&rdquo;

<strong>Ankit Gera: </strong><br /> <br /> &ldquo;Every year whenever Ganpati comes, he comes with great significance in my life. This is the time when good things start happening in my career and personal life. I just wish that he keeps coming every year like this only.&quot;<br /> <br /> &quot;This year, my whole family is here with me to celebrate the festival. Even my sister is here from Canada. Being with dear ones always becomes memorable for me.&rdquo;

<strong>Jay Soni:</strong><br /> <br /> &ldquo;Ganpati ji has always been lucky for me and I believe in him a lot. I have full faith in him and he makes me strong enough to tackle the toughest situations in my life. I think wishes should not be told so I won&rsquo;t reveal. I just wish happiness and joy for my family and everything that happens in future should only be for the good.&rdquo;<br /> <br /> &ldquo;It has always been fun and a good feeling to visit different places to see Ganpati and join the visarjan too. Anywhere you go, the whole atmosphere becomes so divine and beautiful.&rdquo;

<strong>Arjun Bijlani: </strong><br /> <br /> &ldquo;The festival of Ganesh Chaturthi brings a lot of positivity, wisdom into my house and this is the time when my relatives and friends come to get-together and for celebrations. This year, it&rsquo;s even more special as my son Ayaan is here with me. This will be his first Ganesh Utsav and I am sure that he will like it. Also, my mom makes special modaks stuffed with a lot of jaggery and coconuts which are very delicious. I used to eat those modaks a lot when I was younger. Now I am a little health conscious so I don&rsquo;t have sweets that much.&rdquo;<br /> <br /> &ldquo;I just pray for good health and peace for one and all.&rdquo;

<strong>Himmanshoo Malhotra: </strong><br /> <br /> &ldquo;Every year, I follow all the rituals of Ganpati festival. Dancing in my building and streets while the visarjan is going on is very fascinating for me. This also becomes the occasion when everyone comes to meet you at your place and you get to know about each other&rsquo;s life.&rdquo;<br /> <br /> &ldquo;Let the wishes be completely in my heart (laughs). My biggest wish got fulfilled when I won the Nach Baliye 7 title.&rdquo;

<strong>Jaswir Kaur: </strong><br /> <br /> &ldquo;Festival of Ganpati brings in joy, happiness, excitement and preparation. We decorate our place and do &lsquo;Puja&rsquo;. Friends visit for darshan and blessings. The best part of the festival is visarjan. I love the way everyone dances all the way to say goodbye to Ganpati and say &lsquo;come back soon next year&rsquo; in Marathi and play with gulaal. I want Ganpati to bring in peace and prosperity with his visit.&quot;<br /> <br /> &quot;I also request every devotee to take care of the environment by getting home the eco-friendly Ganesha.&rdquo;

<strong>Aniruddh Dave: </strong><br /> <br /> &ldquo;I am an atheist but I like how people enjoy this festival. I salute to their belief. I love the &lsquo;Nashik dhol&rsquo; rhythm on which devotees dance. I love to eat modaks too. I feel this festival brings people close as everyone gets to meet and greet others. I like the dedication and devotion of this festival. The only issues I feel bad about are the pollution levels rising and the aftermath of the festival.&rdquo;

<strong>Romit Raj:</strong><br /> <br /> &ldquo;Honestly, these festive days are very different from the rest of the days. There&rsquo;s an altogether different energy, different feeling and an amazing atmosphere everywhere. Lord Ganpati makes my entire house so vibrant. This year, I have only two wishes &ndash; a good and healthy life for all in my family and my dream house, which I wish to buy by the end of this year.&rdquo;<br /> <br /> &ldquo;I miss my childhood days when I used to dance on the song &lsquo;my name is Lakhan&rsquo; during Ganpati puja in our locality.&rdquo;
