What happens when two crazy childhood friends, who are mad about food, quit their jobs? They come together and create a show! Well that’s the story behind Mayur and Rocky, who rocked the small screen scene with their popular food and travel show ‘Highway On My Plate’ on NDTV Goodtimes. Over the years, not only have the duo become famous but they have become synonymous to NDTV Goodtimes.

Alia-KJo: Colors INFINITY

B-town BFFs Karan Johar and Alia Bhatt recently launched the English entertainment channel Colors INFINITY, a new English GEC. interestingly, the duo have also co-curated the new channel which would air some popular English TV series.

Anurag Basu, Javed Akhtar, Naseeruddin Shah: Epic Channel

These creative talents have been roped in by Epic Channel for their new shows on TV. While Anurag Basu-directed show ‘Stories by Rabindranath Tagore’ went on air on July 6, Javed Akhtar hosts ‘Jaane Pehchaane’. Meawhile, veteran Naseeruddin Shah would be seen as a host for a show on interesting trivia on cricket named ‘Mid-wicket Tales’. The trio’s shows are aired at 10 PM on weekdays. They are seen promoting Epic’s new campaign #EPICat10 and are becoming the face of the channel, which is hardly a year old.

Arnab Goswami: Times Now

Arnab Goswami surely knows what ‘the nation wants to know’ at prime time every day. The famous journalist is the president and editor-in-chief of Times Now and ET Now; he also anchors the ‘Newshour’ at 9 PM. He has been associated with Times Now since 2006. Arnab also became the first journalist in the 140 year history of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) to be ringing the opening bell, thus marking the opening of proceedings at the exchange in June 2015.

Kapil Sharma: Colors

Funnyman Kapil Sharma came up with the concept of ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ in 2013 and the rest as they say is history. Both Kapil Sharma and the show have been a tremendous success with most of the A-listers of Bollywood including Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Deepika Padukone making an appearance on the show. Not to forget the rising viewership of Colors channel that happened as a result.

Kangana Ranaut: Zoom

Bollywood’s ‘Queen’ Kangana Ranaut has been roped in as the new face of Zoom channel. With a revamp of the channel, comes a new brand ambassador for it too. Talking about it Kangana said, “ We all know that fashion and Bollywood go hand-in-hand and through my show 'My Life, My Style @Kangana', I am excited to share my experiences, fashion tips, style statements and current trends with the fans of Bollywood."

Barkha Dutt : NDTV 24x7

Barkha Dutt is a popular Indian TV journalist and columnist. Barkha became a household name for her gutsy reportage of the Kargil War in 1997 and since then she is a prominent face of the news channel. Staring her journalism career with NDTV, Barkha rose to become the consulting editor of NDTV in February 2015. Interestingly, Barkha quit her post as the group editor for NDTV and became a consulting editor for the channel, after almost two decades of joining it, in order to set up her own media company. Nevertheless, thinking of Barkha one is reminded of the news channel.
