Ankita Mallick starrer ‘Jagaddhatri’ strikes an over boundary, outshines ‘Anurager Chhowa’ on TRP charts

TRPs are out and the latest chart has some interesting tweaks just like the daily soaps viewers watch on small screen. Bahu Rani Jagaddhatri, who actually works as a special cop, has changed the TRP game on Bengali small screen. The action-packed drama has worked in show’s favour making it the most-watched daily soap on Bengali small screen. Dibyojyoti Dutta-Swastika Ghosh starrer ‘Anurager Chhowa’ has lost its palace to ‘Jagaddhatri’ after dominating the TRP charts for a long time. Jagaddhatri aka officer Jass is an all rounder. She can solve pretty issues, complex kitchen politics, beat up goons like a pro and crack critical criminal cases too. That’s not all, her list of expertise also includes another highlight and that’s bagging the numero uno spot on the TRP charts. This week, the show has outshined ‘Anurager Chhowa’ that was dominating Bengali small screen for quite some time. A blend of detective story and family drama that’s parallel aired in the show, has become the USP of the show. Its current track revolves around Jass, Swayambhu and their team who are outside the city to crack a murder case. The second position is jointly bagged by ‘Anurager Chhowa’ and ‘Phulki’. ‘Anurager Chhowa’ has been airing high-octane drama in its past few episodes that revolve around estranged couple Surya-Deepa and antagonist Mishika who wants the couple to be separated. Well, Dibyojyoti Dutta-Swastika Ghosh starrer family drama is known for the crackling chemistry between the lead pair and show’s dramatic content. And in the past, it has worked in favor of the show too. On the other hand, how can one deny the abundance of cuteness child artists Mishita Roy Chowdhury and Srishti Majumdar bring to the show with their presence!

But the current track couldn’t show its wonder it seems and ‘Anurager Chhowa’ has been outshined by ‘Jagaddhatri’.

Abhishek Bose and Divyani Mondal starrer ‘Phulki’, on the other hand, is in second place on TRP charts. Its current story is currently progressing with Phulki’s earnest effort to prove her innocence in front of male protagonist Rohit who keeps misunderstanding her. Past few stunts pulled by otherwise simple couple Pakhi-Kush has worked wonders. After all, the show has made it to the top three list on TRP charts.
