Bigg Boss Bangla returns with season 3 after 10 years; Prince of Kolkata Sourav Ganguly to host the show
Bigg Boss remains one of the most loved reality shows in the country and has been winning audiences hearts across multiple languages. Now, after a decade-long hiatus, the production house has officially announced the return of Bigg Boss Bangla with its much-awaited third season.
Adding to the excitement, the makers unveiled a special announcement video featuring cricket icon Sourav Ganguly, who will be stepping in as the host. The reveal has generated significant buzz among fans, making the comeback of the popular reality show one of the most anticipated television events.
The makers announced the same, writing, “ভারতবর্ষের সবচেয়ে বড় বিনোদন এবার বাংলায়।
আসছে বিনোদনের বস - Bigg Boss বাংলা।”
For the uninitiated, Bigg Boss Bangla Season 2 was hosted by Jeet and actor Joyjit Banerjee won the season. There were quite some controversies during the second season. Actress Rii Sengupta was also a part of the season and reportedly made headlines during her stint in Bigg Boss Bangla Season 2.
The first season of Bigg Boss Bangla was hosted by none other than Mahaguru Mithun Chakraborty. It was quite successful and singer Aneek Dhar won the season.
Earlier while talking to India Times last year, Saurav Ganguly stated that television is a unique way to connect with people. He said he is excited to host these upcoming reality shows. The cricketer stated, "Television has always given me a special way to connect with people, and it gives me great pleasure to associate with the channel as we begin a new chapter of storytelling through innovative non-fiction programming."
