Friends and Family galore! Throwback to Shruti Das and Swarnendu Samaddar’s anniversary celebration

​Shruti Das celebrated her first marriage anniversary with husband and director Swarnendu Samaddar on July 9. The actress tied the knot last year, on the same day. This year, on the occasion of their first marriage anniversary, Shruti and Swarnendu hosted an intimate gathering to celebrate their special day with their family members and close friends. The wedding



​After dating for a couple of years, Shruti legally married Swarnendu in a legal ceremony. The couple registered their marriage on July 9 last year. Shruti and Swarnendu’s romance has often been criticized because of their age gap. However, the couple didn’t pay much attention to the trolling and haters. The couple got hitched in an intimate ceremony last year. Apart from registering their marriage legally, the couple exchanged garlands and rings. Swarnendu performed the ‘Sidur Daan’ ritual too.

The anniversary

​Shruti has eagerly been waiting for July 9 to come. On July 9, Shruti wished her husband, Swarnendu, with a sweet post. The actress shared an adorable video of them and wrote, “Happy 1st!” In the video, Shruti and Swarnendu are seen twinning in red outfits. The couple is seen at their candid best and held each other close with big smiles on their faces.

​Shruti and Swarnendu hosted an intimate get-together to celebrated one year of marital bliss. The couple decked up keeping Red as the theme of their party. Shruti was seen in a Red saree paired with a white blouse. Swarnendu complemented his wife in a red Panjabi. The couple cut a beautiful cake and fed each other.

​Shruti and Swarnendu had their loved ones right by their side for the occasion. Not only their family members celebrated their special day, but also Shruti had her BFFs cheering for the happiness of the actress. Shruti posed with all her friends and posted those photos on Instagram.

The road ahead



​Shruti and Swarnendu legally married each other last year. However, the couple is yet to take their wedding vows according to the Hindu ritual. As per Shruti, they are not in a hurry for their social wedding. However, the actress told ETimes that they are planning to host their social wedding ceremony sometime in 2025.
